About Kartika Damon

Hello!

As an abstract artist, writer, and elder, I find art-making puts me into the “flow.” Many artists have called this experience “Being in the Zone.” Mystics have often described this state of being as the Source of Creativity. Staring at a blank canvas is not always easy and relaxing, but it can put me in the flow, keeping it interesting. Creativity is part of my spiritual practice. It is exhilarating, frustrating, and everything in between. Currently attending Sofia University as a student in the Transpersonal Psychology MA program, I find this field of study relates to my life as an artist, lover of psychology, and spiritual seeker.
